CORVETTE REUNION

AUGUST 21, 2021

Mark your calendars, and join us on August 21, 2021
for the next Corvette Reunion!

Each year, on Saturday, Flint, the birthplace of “America’s Sports Car,” proudly hosts a National Reunion for Corvette aficionados. The annual Corvette Reunion is like a “show within a show.” Hundreds of Vette’s are on display including Survivors, Custom, and Restored beauties from every production year. Don’t forget to visit the National Corvette Museum booth near the Durant Hotel.

The first 300 “Vettes” were built by hand in Flint, MI. With the introduction of the stylish, fiberglass Chevrolet Corvette more than 60 years ago, the “dream car” of General Motors quickly became the envy of car enthusiasts. From the C-1’s that rolled off the line in 1953 through the 2019 C-7’s, the world’s longest running continuously produced vehicle has had very few major overhauls in its history, but that is about to change.

The 2020 C-8 (the eighth generation) Corvette Stingray is a dramatic departure from the traditional front engine design. General Motors recently unveiled a mid-engine Corvette with an ideal weight distribution that will improve agility and handling. The 495 HP, 6.2 liter, V-8 engine, rear wheel drive Corvette with an 8 speed automatic transmission has been dubbed by some as “a speeding ticket on wheels.” Industry critics suggest that the enhanced performance and appearance of the all new C-8 will usher the Corvette into the realm of “supercars” like the Ferrari and the Lamborghini.
